In the days leading up to your session, we will finalize location and discuss any styling needs you have. I can send you outfit ideas, mood boards with your vision in mind. I will be here to answer any questions you have. If you need any links to outfits I can send you that information as well! Think of me as your photography bestie!

Prepare for your Session

I am going to let you in on a little secret. The best sessions are when my clients let go of any expectations and enjoy the moment. If your littles are grouchy, thats okay! The most important thing is to go with the flow. All of my sessions take place an hour to 45 minutes before sunset. The best advice I can give you for your littles is let them be little! You will be surprised how well these kiddos do in the late afternoons!

My turn around time is 2-3 weeks. Once you receive your online gallery I will send you a download pin to download all of your images. I recommend MPix for prints and for canvas size wood prints I recommend Smallwoods Home.

This package includes all high resolution deliverable images, a minimum of 30. We start 45 minutes to an hour before sunset. Images are delivered in a private online gallery. Access to a styling guide and session preparation guide upon booking. 

pETITE Family Session

This package includes 15-20 hand edited, high resolution images. We start 30 minutes before sunset. Images are delivered in a private online gallery. Access to a styling guide and session preparation guide upon booking.

I recommend the session that best fits your season of life. If you want to slow down and fully document this chapter, Signature is the way to go. If you’re looking for something simple and meaningful, Petite is perfect.

What should we wear?
Neutral, earthy tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your family. Avoid busy logos or patterns. I also provide a styling guide and am happy to share outfit ideas or links—think of me as your photography bestie!

What if my kids don’t cooperate?
No worries at all! I expect kids to be themselves. Some of the sweetest images come from authentic moments—tickles, giggles, even a pout or two. I’ll guide you so the experience feels relaxed and fun.

Can we include grandparents or extended family?
Yes! Extended family sessions are available and can be a beautiful way to capture multiple generations together. Just let me know when booking. Then I will be able to more accurately quote you for the session. 

Where do sessions take place?
I photograph families throughout Oakdale, Modesto, Ripon, Escalon, and the Central Valley. We’ll pick a location that fits your vision—whether that’s a golden field, riverside, or your own backyard.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
If it’s raining or the wind is too strong, we’ll reschedule for the next available date. Cloudy skies are no problem (they actually make for gorgeous light!).
